Lack of variety? What lvl are you? There is definately no lack of variety in the quests at mid lvls.

I completely agree there should be some form of crafting. In fact there must be some point to the items dropped by monsters, otherwise they'd just drop usables and gold. I'm willing to just wait patiently until it happens. If I do get bored again I will make sure to check the site and try the game after a few more updates.

I started playing when it first went public, and stopped shortly afterwards. Now I'm playing again and love the improvements.

I hope that when crafting is implemented we get a system that benefits the war aspect of the game. I don't want to have to spend hours making a specific character for crafting. I just want to have to grind a certain monster type until I get the drops I need, then take them to a dealer and get the items turned into nice gear.

A player to player economy would need to be implemented in order to make good use of a crafting based char. And that has no place in a war game.

Right now I'm just waiting for the wearables to get better attributes. ie. skill bonuses and stat bumps

I really like that you don't have to worry about money in Regnum and can concentrate on playing.
That doesn't mean i wouldn't like to see improvements like being able to, hmmm, lets say improve weapons by crafting.

RPG economies are fragile things and can easily ruin games if they run amok.
Be careful in what you wish for.

i agree 100% phenax,

regnum could take some lessons from alot of the more successful games out

there is really nothing to do other then lvl and war,
and with the lag problems war sucks right now

when i fight in a large fort war ( especialy with syrtis), its like i lag= when i stop the lag im dead. 10 hits at once without me casting 1 spell lol

they need more to do in the game to keep people interested
when i first started playing i was like this is great, butt it took only 2 months to get so board i dont play anymore.

i still comw back waiting for some new stuff to grab my interest thou

i still think regnum is the best game out, butt it just lacks the long term interests that other games have

Flame of Vahalla
UTGHAR Warlock lvl 44
